Artwork
By 1989, while living in beautiful, calm, predictable Barbados, my world had become so big and colorful after living in The Gambia, Cameroon, and India that I felt if I didn't paint, I'd explode. So I painted. Since then I've been in over a dozen art exhibits, including two international biennials: 1993 - Grafolies: Biennial International Art exhibit, Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire; 1992 - DAK ART'92 Biennial International, Museum of African Art, Dakar, Senegal. My work is in private collections in the United States and abroad. Below is a sampling of works old, new, and in progress.
